The Eversley GP Bird List

This table is drawn up from the Eversley GP Bird Species List published in the 2007 Moor Green Lakes Annual Report, which defines the Status of each species for each year since 1990 and gives details of each species recorded in 2007, with monthly numbers where appropriate. The  207 species (BOU cat. A & C1 to C5) and one sub-species (White Wagtail) have been recorded up until the end of 2007. Note that the official Moor Green Lakes species list includes Barnacle and Snow Goose which have bred there.

Reporting Category is explained on the Birds Page.

Status: R - Resident, B - Breeding, S - Summer Visitor, W - Winter Visitor, P - Passage Migrant, V - Vagrant, generally recorded less than 4 times a year, on more than 9 years since 1990, Vn - Vagrant where n is the number of years (less than 10) that the species has been recorded since 1990, V* - Vagrant recorded before 1990 and not since. V+ - Vagrant recently, but has had a more substantial presence previously, for example Breeding or Resident; this information is in the Annual Report.
